Why your website should support Internet Explorer 6
I mean, who uses Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) anyway?
Well according to this wikipedia article...about 17% of us. Clearly a significant share of the market.
As a web developer, I find IE6 support to be difficult (and I would find a chorus of "Amen" from the web development community in support of this). IE 6 is far from standards compliant. This means it renders some of the web site code in it's own fashion, rather than by the industry-wide agreed methods. It is the "special case" for web development, creating headaches when taking complex designs from the drawing board and making them come alive in the browser.
IE 7 is much better, but still has its quirks. As far as I can tell, IE 8 shows even more improvement.
